Islamic Occult Studies on the Rise is a nine-month international academic workshop organized by Matt Melvin-Koushki (Department of History, UofSC) and Noah Gardiner (Department of Religious Studies, UofSC) and funded by the College of Arts and Sciences of the University of South Carolina. Held online, it examines manifold aspects of the occult sciences in Islam. Participation in the workshop is by invitation.
